Why Did My Remote Starter Enter VALET MODE?
Compustar remote starters enter valet mode for one main reason. The remote starter brain detected a vehicle battery power loss at one point or another.
You could have left your headlights on and your battery died.
You could have had your car in storage and when you tried starting it, it was dead and you had to jump the car.
You might have taken your vehicle in for maintenance (even an oil change) and the maintenance worker disconnected your battery terminals for their safety.

Valet Mode Symptoms:
1. My lock and unlock are working, but my remote starter is not working.
2. My remote starter does not respond to commands to start.
How Do I Exit VALET MODE?
1. When exiting VALET MODE with a four (4) button remote, you have to have the vehicle ignition off.
2. Take your two (2) thumbs and, "TAP" the LOCK AND THE TRUNK buttons at the same time for 0.5 seconds. Once you push the two buttons down release them. (on a 4 button two way remote buttons 1 and 3)
3. You should see your parking lights blink two (2) times. (if you don't see your parking lights blink, you didn't do it properly)
4. If your lock and unlock is working and your remote starter still doesn't work, repeat step two (2).
