What is PASSIVE MODE?
If your remote starter system is set in passive mode, your vehicle will automatically lock/arm itself after 30 seconds of inactivity.
PASSIVE MODE Symptoms:
1. Your vehicle automatically locks/arms itself after 30 seconds of inactivity.
2. On your two way compustar remote, you will see the words, "PASSIVE" on the screen.
How do I enter or exit PASSIVE MODE?
1. With your vehicle turned off, "TAP" down on button two (2) and button three (3) at the same time for 0.5 seconds (real quick, press and release).
If you see one (1) blink on your parking lights you have entered Passive Mode.
If you see two (2) blinks on your parking lights you have exited Passive Mode.
