VALET MODE
It is safe to say that 9 times out of 10 if a customer calls up stating that their remote starter isn't working, it is because the system has entered, "Valet Mode".
Valet Mode Symptoms:
1. My lock and unlock are working, but my remote starter is not working.
2. My remote starter does not respond to commands to start.
PASSIVE MODE
If your remote starter system is set in passive mode, your vehicle will automatically lock itself after 30 seconds of inactivity.
Passive Mode Symptoms:
1. Your vehicle automatically locks itself / arms itself after 30 seconds of inactivity.
